KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Inventory supply planning and forecasting.
- Generating Local Purchase Order and seeking approval from the Finance Manager.
- Arrange for transportation of stock from the supplier to Watu credit premises in a timely and cost-effective way.
- Receiving an invoice and other supportive documents from the supplier of the motor bikes or any other items supplied to Watu credit.
- Receiving and stocking all items delivered from the supplier.
- Inspection (verification) of all items delivered for any damages or discrepancies, report those to the management for reimbursements and record keeping.
- Ensure adequate record keeping and manage all documentation to confirm proper stock levels and maintain inventory control.
- Managing and maintaining inventory to operating level to avoid scarcity/surplus.
- Coordinating with technicians and on boarding officers to make sure that the right bikes are selected for installation and on boarded for the customers.
- Responsible for dispatch of all bikes and other items from the store /warehouse to customers.
- Submitting the relevant reports to management concerning inventory accurately and in time.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers.
- Managing clients bikes repair and service from suppliers end.
- Advice the management on supply issues.
- Understanding suppliers stock level and ability to supply
- Work with other departments closely which affects supply such as GPS, Finance, Branch and Operations.
- Performing any other relevant activity as directed by management.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree or a Diploma in Logistics or similar field
- 1 to 2 years working experience in logistics or any other related field
- Excellent communication, Planning and organizational skills
- Integrity, enthusiasm and passion for continuous learning and development
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work harmoniously in an organization with diverse business operations
- Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities, able to effectively deal with people at all levels inside and outside of the Company
- High attention to detail and internal control
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
