Dispensary Technician

What you’ll do

An exciting new Dispensary Technician position is available at Ramsay Pharmacy - Shepparton. This is full-time position on a rotating roster which includes weekend shifts. As the Dispensary Technician, you’ll be supervised by a qualified pharmacist as you prepare medications and process prescriptions for our valued patients & customers.

• Assist the Pharmacist with the dispensing of medication.
• Remain up to date with PBS legislative requirements impacting the pharmacy/dispensary.
• Strive to provide specialised patient care to our valued patients and customers.

We are seeking someone with the following attributes or experience:

• minimum Certificate II or III in Community Pharmacy.
• excellent understanding of PBS and private prescription pricing and processing.
• sound understanding of S2, S3 and S4 medications and associated regulations.
• highly organized and with a strong attention to detail.
• excellent customer service skills and able to work well as part of a team.

You must be focused on customer service and able to demonstrate enthusiasm, energy and excellent communication skills.

It is a mandatory requirement that you provide:

• Proof of immunisation against infectious diseases.
• A national police check conducted within the last 12 months.
