The Community Life Coordinator supports departmental management in providing engaging, entertaining and enriching activities and events for the residents of Academy Mapleton Hill (AMH).

Responsibilities
The specific duties and responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Assists in the production and execution of the monthly activity calendar for all residents
- Coordinates, develops, and leads group and individual activities for all residents
- Develops a customized life enrichment plan for each assisted living resident
- Arranges travel to all offsite activities in coordination
- Ensures all assisted living residents are encouraged to participate in life enrichment opportunities and/or have the opportunity for 1:1 activity based on the resident's individual preferences
- Oversees event space rooms flip and transition calendar. Assures event/activity spaces are presentable pre, during and post event/activity
- Manages supplies in storage spaces for organization and ease of use in programming
- Collaborates creatively with manager to develop new activities and programming
- Assists in overseeing outside contractors used for activities/events/classes
- Assists in tracking and maintaining resident attendance for events/activities
- Interacts and cooperates with other departments for activities/events.
- Serves as a member of Manager-on-Duty team, as assigned, and performs in the regular rotation schedule
