About the role
he Traveling Nuclear Turbine Millwright supports refueling outages at nuclear power plants nationwide, performing inspection, maintenance, and overhaul of steam turbine-generator systems. This role executes precision turbine work including rotor handling, clearance verification, laser alignment, and component replacement critical to safe and successful unit restarts.
Work is performed under outage-driven schedules and often on the critical path. This position requires full-time travel, and strict adherence to nuclear safety, QA/QC, Radiation Protection, and Foreign Material Exclusion (FME) standards.
This position is located at the Catawba Nuclear Station, supporting plant operations through TNC Energy Services.
