About the Role

Reporting to the Program Manager RAES, the Community Projects Manager oversees the planning, coordination and performance of Community Projects across multiple sites.

You will provide day-to-day leadership to project staff, maintain strong community relationships, and ensure projects are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with approved Work Plans and program guidelines.

This role balances people leadership, operational coordination and performance management to support positive participant engagement and program outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support Community Projects staff through coaching, supervision and performance development
• Coordinate the delivery of Community Projects to ensure activities meet program requirements, timelines and milestones
• Support Project Coordinators to resolve operational issues and maintain effective service delivery
• Monitor program performance, participation and engagement targets
• Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity across RAES systems
• Manage project resources, assets and budgets in line with program guidelines
• Build strong relationships with community representatives, Elders and service partners
• Promote culturally safe practice and ensure projects reflect community priorities
• Maintain high standards of Work Health and Safety, compliance and risk management

About You

You are a confident and practical leader who can support teams while managing the operational requirements of a government-funded program. You have strong organisational skills, experience supporting teams and a commitment to delivering programs that create positive outcomes for communities.

You will bring

• Experience leading teams within employment services, community services or social programs
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Experience managing program compliance, reporting and service standards
• The ability to support staff to meet performance and participation targets
• Cultural awareness and understanding of working with Aboriginal communities
