CMC is seeking an exceptional Commercial Manager to play a critical leadership role in protecting, strengthening and optimising the commercial performance of complex civil infrastructure projects.
This position sits at the centre of major project delivery, working closely with senior operational leaders to ensure commercial strategy, contract administration and risk management are executed at the highest level.
This is a rare opportunity for a commercial leader who is respected in the civil construction industry and thrives in environments where strong thinking, sound judgement and commercial discipline are essential.
Based at our Brisbane Head Office, you will provide high-level commercial leadership and advice across multiple projects and business functions.
You will partner closely with senior operational leaders, project teams, pre-contracts and legal stakeholders to ensure the business makes strong commercial decisions across contract negotiation, risk management and project performance.
This role also plays a key part in building commercial capability across the organisation, mentoring project teams and strengthening commercial systems and processes across the portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
You are a highly capable commercial professional who understands the realities of major civil infrastructure delivery.
You will likely come from a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor environment and have built a reputation for sound judgement, strong negotiation capability, and the ability to manage complex contractual issues on large projects.
