Educational Platform Editor - Years 7-10 Mathematics

Education Perfect is searching for contract-based Mathematics Platform Editors who will be responsible for transforming and adapting content to be engaging online lessons and assessments that will be hosted on the Education Perfect (EP) learning platform. 

The project will commence in mid-March and run through to mid-September. We’re looking for a commitment of approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to work around your schedule.

This is a contract-based role, with the following payment structure:

• $120 project onboarding payment
• $300 per new lesson and associated assessment question set built
• $200 per adapted lesson and associated assessment question set built

What you will do in the role

• Editing/transforming curriculum-aligned Year 7 to 10 Mathematics content from a script to the EP Platform.
• Communicating with a cross-functional team to edit content and publish on our platform
• Meeting quality and effectiveness targets in all tasks
• Managing your project tasks and time via online tools and software

Experience needed

• You have relevant experience in educational editing, publishing or digital content creation
• Proven subject-matter expertise in an area of mathematics 
• Excellent time-management skills and the ability to work independently 
• Strong attention to detail to ensure our instructional design standards are reached
• Experience with equation writing (LaTeX or similar) is preferred but not required
