THE PRACTICE:
Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is a dynamic physician-owned and -led orthopaedic managed service organization seeks a fellowship-trained, board-certified, or board-eligible Trauma Surgeon to join a premier practice-partner in Southwest Ohio. Beacon Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is a nationally recognized orthopedic practice serving patients throughout the Greater Cincinnati region, distinguished by its commitment to innovative treatment, exceptional outcomes, and patient-centered care. For more than two decades, the practice has delivered comprehensive orthopedic, spine, and sports medicine services across Southwest Ohio, Northern Kentucky, and Southeast Indiana. You will be joining a team of fellowship-trained, subspecialty-focused physicians supported by a highly skilled clinical and administrative staff dedicated to quality, access, and an outstanding patient experience. Beacon is professionally managed, allowing physicians to devote their time and expertise to delivering advanced musculoskeletal care while minimizing administrative burdens.
Beacon has (59) sub-specialty physicians, (5) MRI facilities, (3) outpatient surgery centers, and (13) rehabilitation suites. As an essential part of our trauma service line, Beacon has partnered with TriHealth through a joint venture – a partnership aimed at improving quality, affordability and accessibility of care to patients throughout the Greater Cincinnati region. Both Beacon & TriHealth remain independent, but the two organizations have partnered in several areas, including providing specialty care for patients through our trauma service line.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school
- Valid board certification or eligibility
- Must be fellowship-trained
- Current state medical license and in good standing
- Proven experience as a sports medicine specialist
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills with the ability to develop effective treatment plans
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team
- Empathy, compassion, and a patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to handle a fast-paced work environment and manage multiple priorities
