Duties and Responsibilities:
Oversee nursery workers and works side by side to complete daily work.
Maintaining trees, shrubs, and plant material in the nursery located at our landscape install branch
Unloading deliveries of plant material at the nursery
Organizing plant material within the nursery
Pulling the correct plants and materials for each landscape installation project
Hand-watering
Moving soil, equipment, and materials
General upkeep of the nursery
Using hand tools, power tools, and/or equipment to maintain and move plant material and supplies
Performing miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
Skills and Requirements:
Valid Driver’s License and ability to clear a Motor Vehicle Record check required
Experience safely driving a truck & trailer
Prior Supervisory experience
Landscape installation experience and plant material knowledge
Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) is a plus
Must be able and willing to work for long periods of time outside (in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight)
Must be able and willing to bend, stoop, and twist repeatedly throughout the day
Must be able to use hand tools and power equipment
Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
