Position Summary This position is primarily responsible for completing adjusting entries are processed in accordance to standard operating procedures and perform other related duties as assigned.
Key Responsibilities (Supervisory/Materials/Information) • Receive, review and enter data in order to prepare adjusting entries (e.g. refunds, amends, etc.). • Submit and conclude adjusting entries. • Prepare invoices and corresponding billing packages. • Other related duties as assigned by management including answering the phone, scanning documents, filing, etc.
Education and Experience • Completion of High School or Equivalent • Previous office experience an asset
Competencies, Working Skills & Attributes • Fast and accurate keyboarding skills (min. 8000 keystrokes per hour with 97% accuracy) • Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills; must be able to speak and write fluently in English. • High attention to detail • Able to operate standard business machines (e.g. computer, fax, photocopier, scanner, etc.) • Proficient with standard business applications (e.g. email, Word, Excel, etc.) • Able to perform basic mathematical calculations
Working Conditions, Mental Effort & Physical Requirements • Must be comfortable working in a fast paced, high activity and deadline bound environment. • Concentration is required in reviewing and typing large quantities of text. • May be required to sit at desk for prolonged periods of time. • May be required to view computer screen or printed materials for extended periods of time. • No adverse conditions.
