We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Senior Bookkeeper & Payroll Accountant to take full ownership of the Accounts Payable and payroll processes. This role is critical to ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and smooth day-to-day financial operations in a growing organization.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounts payable cycle, including invoice review, validation, system entry, and vendor reconciliations.
- Prepare and execute vendor payments in accordance with company policy and engagement terms.
- Full responsibility for the preparation of monthly salaries, working in close liaison with the HR department.
- Handle prepayments, future offsets, and maintain/monitor standing orders.
- Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, and Management to verify receipt of goods/services before invoice processing.
- Manage month-end accruals, prepaid expenses, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare and submit reports to tax authorities e.g. VAT.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of experience in bookkeeping and payroll preparation, with full responsibility for Accounts Payable.
- Certified Bookkeeper (Levels 1+2) and Certified Payroll Accountant qualification.
- Strong experience working with ERP systems; experience with Priority is a significant advantage.
- Excellent organizational skills, high level of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate ownership, and effectively collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Comfortable working in English, both written and spoken.
