At QIC, we believe in shared value — where delivering strong investment returns can go hand in hand with doing good for our clients, people and communities. With more than A$100 billion in assets under management, we invest globally across real assets, private markets and liquid strategies.
We’re looking for an Undergraduate Accountant to join our Finance team in Brisbane. This role is designed for an accounting student who wants more than textbook learning — someone keen to build practical experience, lean into management accounting, and be part of a collaborative, social team environment.
This is not a traditional financial accounting role posting journals or processing month-end. You’ll focus on management accounting — analysing profitability drivers, supporting budgeting and forecasting, and contributing to ad hoc analysis for the CFO, CEO and Board, all within a collaborative environment that’s invested in helping early career talent grow. We’re a tech-forward team, so an interest in systems, automation and emerging AI capabilities would be highly regarded.
About the role
In this role, you’ll support the Finance team across a range of activities that build core accounting capability, with a strong focus on management accounting. Your work may include:

Why QIC?
