We have a standout opportunity for a Procurement Excellence Lead – Technology to own and elevate Procurement and Supply Chain (PSC) technology and tools. This role brings together technology, process and education to embed a strong continuous improvement mindset and unlock meaningful, long-term process efficiencies for AusNet.
This role will primarily be based in Southbank and is part of the Procurement & Supply Chain Management (PSCM), Group Operations team.
What you’ll be doing in this role:
Develop and deliver an end to end procurement technology roadmap
Identify, recommend and implement future procurement technology solutions, including RFx, evaluation and rollout
Manage the SAP relationship for ARIBA functionality, including through SAP Preferred Success Expanded Edition capability.
Act as a trusted internal advisor on procurement and supply chain technology
Contribute to the PSCM Excellence and Capability annual business plan and priorities
Deliver approved technology strategies, initiatives and improvements
Drive continuous improvement and simplification of procurement technology and processes
Develop, uplift and maintain procurement technology process documentation
Enable enterprise value through efficient technology processes and supportive policies
Improve the supplier experience across the source to pay cycle
Increase visibility of PSCM through technology led feedback and improvement programs
Continuously improve PSCM technology policies, frameworks, tools and reporting
Foster a culture of continuous review, feedback and change
Influence adoption of continuous improvement programs through strong collaboration and communication
You don’t need to check every box, however we’re looking for a good combination of:
Bachelor’s degree in business, technology or a related field
Demonstrated experience in project management
Significant experience across procurement technology, training and development, and business process design
Strong capability in process mapping, documentation, presentations, and continuous improvement leadership
Proven problem solving and decision-making skills
Working knowledge of supply chain and source to contract environments
Utilities industry experience desirable
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (mandatory)
Experience with ERP and eProcurement systems advantageous
Strong analytical skills with a structured, delivery focused mindset
Agile and adaptable, with a relentless focus on value
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels
