What does our Supply Only Team Leader actually do?
• Deliver a friendly and memorable customer service experience.
• Conduct monthly 1-to-1s with team members, record outcomes in Hero, and report insights—both successes and red flags—to the Business Support Supervisor, taking action where needed.
• Manage team operations, including workloads, absences, performance via KPIs, and disciplinary or general management tasks.
• Oversee Quality Management Systems for the Supply Only Team, including SOP documentation, risk identification, and mitigation.
• Liaise with internal departments (Distribution, Social Housing, Specification, Manufacturing) to maintain efficient and consistent customer service.
• Communicate regularly with sales and colleagues to ensure consistent messaging to customers.
• Support process improvement initiatives by identifying trends or recurring queries impacting customer service.
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure all data is handled in line with data protection standards.
