Inventory Support Specialist
General Robotics a Sig Sauer company is a leading developer and supplier of advanced defense systems to special forces. Our systems provide remote situational awareness for keeping special forces out of harm's way.
Position Summary: The Inventory Support Specialist works directly to assist and manage the daily operations of the organization. The ideal candidate will regularly be required to solve complex administrative problems and take the initiative to perform tasks that are diverse and multifaceted. This person demonstrates a high degree of professionalism and independence in supporting various tasks. Inventory Support Specialist will work directly with staff, Managers, and the Executive Team to research and resolve issues and concerns. This position is in Israel.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manages and maintains all systems inventory, making sure the inventory is counted for, stored properly, and updated in the company's data systems.
- Manage the quarterly and yearly counting of inventory with the internal and external accountants.
- Learn and implement software for professional management of inventory as used by Sig Sauer US to be implemented in Israel in a coordinated way.
- Assist in the planning of inventory for the short and the long term.
- Assist in the procurement and receipt of inventory from suppliers.
- Manages and maintains all office inventory, including, but not limited to office supplies, tools, furniture, and equipment.
- Provides administrative support in various functions to an individual, team, or department within the organization.
- Provides courteous and professional communication with all staff and customers.
- Maintains organized documentation and record keeping, including, filing, scanning, etc.
- Addresses administrative tasks and resolves issues based on priority.
- Familiar with logistics, completing shipping and handling tasks as needed.
- Assists with event management and collaboration amongst suppliers and onsite visitors. • Engages in and actively volunteers for Continuous Improvement projects/tasks.
- Miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Education/Experience & Skills:
- 1-3 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain or logistics is preferred.
- Experience in operational support in the defense industry or equivalent experience in performing complicated tasks from the IDF would be preferred.
- Excellent skills at working with Microsoft Office programs and Monday
- Strong ability to multitask and prioritize workflow.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills with clear articulation and persuasive communication abilities are required.
- Strong organization, analytical skills, and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service skills/orientation.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Working Conditions:
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working at a computer using a keyboard and mouse performing repetitive tasks.
- Ability to open file cabinets, reach with hands and arms, bend, and twist, lift and move files.
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
