REPORTS TO: Program Manager
SUPERVISES: N/A
DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Supports technical execution of assigned projects within the programmatic guidelines set by the Program Manager and customer.
- Review statements of work from customer, review technical drawings, and identify applicable MIL-STD or other technical requirements and support conveying understanding to the team Project Coordinator and Program Manager.
- Assist with defining, generating, and reviewing project technical requirements and documentation with Program Manager, Project Coordinator and customer for assigned scope of responsibility.
- Assess technical feasibility of the project and identify additional resources which may be needed to fulfill requirements and meet deliverables of customer, escalating complex or high-risk issues to senior engineers or the Program Manager.
- Determine the relevance of existing, standard requirements and their level of appropriateness for additively manufactured components with oversight and review by senior engineering staff as required.
- Track assigned projects and their deliverables to ensure technical work scope are well defined and maintained.
- Provide technical input and coordination with assigned personnel to related projects as directed.
- Conduct and attend meetings in a supporting or information-sharing capacity as required.
- Support resolution of engineering, material and planning issues.
- Support implementation of improved engineering processes by following established procedures and providing improvement suggestions.
- Provide the coordination between resource managers/supervisors and ensure all necessary reviews and approvals are received.

QUALIFICATIONS / KNOWLEDGE / EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering Or high school diploma/GED and six (6) years of equivalent Engineering experience as defined below.
- 0 to 2 years of related engineering, design or construction experience or equivalent experience.
- Experience in identifying and anticipating design/production work sequence conflicts preferred.
- Computer literate and familiar with AutoCAD and MS Office products.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
ADDITIONAL GUIDELINES:
- The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance may be required if deemed necessary in the scope of your position responsibilities.
